Introduction

At first glance, TerraX looks like a typical tap-to-earn title. A closer look quickly reveals that it breaks out of this mold and offers far more depth than most games in the genre.

This is probably why TerraX has been going strong for over 15 months, while I have seen many other projects that started and failed during the same period.

It's very positive that new updates and game mechanics are constantly being added. The developers are very communicative and close to the community.

Gameplay

You start out as a simple miner and work your way up. Ore is needed to make ingots, which in turn can be used to forge better tools, weapons, and equipment.

Later in the game, you can conquer dungeons to obtain rare loot, and go fishing to prepare meals or earn coveted loot boxes.

Once a month, there is that big event, everyone works towards: the boss fight. Anyone who goes in without the right equipment will quickly realize that they won't get very far. A share of the big prize pool awaits everyone here.

But that won't be the end of it. TerraX is constantly getting new game mechanics, such as Co-Op Jungle and the Capitol, which has just been added.

Earning Potential

There is not just one way - There are many ways to earn money.

Some earn their coins by trading resources. Others sell the ore they mine from the mines of Moria. Still others try their luck at fishing, hoping to catch boxes filled with valuable treasures.

In my opinion, the way to success is the boss fight! Get the ore from the mines, cut down the trees in the forest, and fight monsters in the dungeons to forge the strongest weapons and get the best armor so you can be at the forefront of the boss fight.

Guilds

Guilds have recently been introduced. Based on the principle that "together we are always stronger," guilds offer the opportunity to obtain permanent passive buffs through co-op game mechanics.

With the guilds, the Capitol also comes into play. Guilds will battle each other and the victors will be rewarded. Here, too, there will be the opportunity to obtain USDT.

Pro Subscription

It is possible to play the game completely free of charge. However, you shouldn't expect to get rich from it.

There are several reasons why I recommend everyone to take out a Pro subscription. You make much faster progress. You have more opportunities every day because you have more energy, and you level up much faster through the story quests. Nevertheless, it's a very good cost-benefit ratio, with a small investment and a big result.

But the most important reason is that you support the developers and keep the game alive.

Store

Apart from the Pro Subs, you can buy various items, such as supply chests, armor and various useful items like energy potions, which make it easier to get started.

Supply chests are, of course, a game of chance. Based on my experience, having opened over 500 chests, I can say with a clear conscience that the drop rates are fair and well balanced. However, you need a lot of luck to get legendary items, which is good.

If you get an epic item after 50-60 chests, you'll be very happy.

Energy potions can be useful. However, I wouldn't overdo it, as you can brew them yourself later with resources from fishing and harvesting. The same applies to dungeon keys, which you can also obtain while fishing.

Conclusion

Web3 Earning Component

TerraX is one of the few web3 games with the potential to become successful. If you dare to invest a little, you will get something back for your money. Of course, always DYOR and no financial advice!

After playing for 30 days, I can say that the risk of loss is very low as things stand at present.

Gameplay

Apart from the fact that play-to-earn is a strong focus here, the gameplay is also a lot of fun. What probably puts many people off is the tap-to-earn component, but it is, based on chats, already clear that the developers are working on solutions.

Until then, which is also very positive, scripts for automation are allowed. However, this is only as long as the backend is not attacked and the script behavior is based on normal use. This makes the game much more fun. The rewarding feeling of getting rare loot from chests or the drops in Dungeons is not missing either.

Even with its earning mechanics, TerraX maintains a genuine gameplay experience that doesn't feel compromised or overshadowed.

Anyone looking for a play-to-earn game who doesn't want to burn through hundreds of dollars has here the opportunity to build something up on their own with just a Pro Sub.

The Development Team

What's really special about this project is the development team. They clearly prioritize long-term project stability over short-term profit, which is reflected in their consistent communication and ongoing improvements.

Based on my experience, the likelihood of a rug pull appears extremely low. My experience with them has been nothing but positive.

I can recommend TerraX to anyone interested in web3 games. Since the in-game market is not linked to the blockchain, it also offers a good introduction to crypto gaming for newcomers.

Of course, I must add a disclaimer here as well, as this also involves investments. Everyone should only invest what they are prepared to lose. No matter how promising a project is, it can always fail somewhere.
