The Raid: Boss Battles Reforged

Boss battles are no longer a tapping contest. You send your character in with potions and a hot meal and the fight resolves itself round by round, whether you are watching or not. What you earn comes down to the gear you brought, not how fast your finger is. Pull fallen fighters back onto their feet with your own potions, take titles for what you actually did, and let the whole realm hear when a raid is called.

The Turning Year

The seasons were scenery. Now they are weather you have to plan around. Four seasons turn with the world clock and each one changes what the land will give you: fish run fat in summer and thin under the frost, the groves swell in autumn, the ore seams run rich in winter. Ashwing has learned to breathe fire, and the caves now hold you for a full hour instead of fifteen minutes.

Brothers in Arms: The Co-op Update

Fight together for the first time. Combat is rebuilt from the ground up: no more one-on-one duels with a mob while your friend watches, every weapon swings at its own speed, and threat decides who the monster hunts. Form a party of five, share XP, and hunt Ashwing the Dragon, a world mini boss who lands once a day and rewards everyone who fights. Plus goblins in the fields, a one hour clock on the caves, and a long list of fixes.

World Events: The Realm Turns

The world itself now turns. Eight world events reshape the land's bounty while they hold: floods that drown the coal seams, gold veins that run double rich, forests that surge, shoals that empty. Every event gives with one hand and takes with the other, announced by a warning horn across the whole server and shown on your character panel while it lasts.

The Ranch: Hatch, Breed, Trade

A whole new system. Sixteen beasts across four kins, eggs that drop from everything you already play, pens that produce daily, a six-stat breeding line with real inheritance, rarity climbing through ascension, and a marketplace where a perfect bloodline sells for hundreds. Every one of the six stats now does something real — your follower gives you speed, crits, loot luck and evasion, and comes with you into caves. Breeding costs energy and time instead of dollars.

TerraX FAQ — how the game actually works

Straight answers about the browser MMORPG: what it costs, how mining, fishing, dungeons and world bosses work, and how earning and withdrawing USDT actually happens — with the real numbers from the game's balance data.

Play TerraX Free

Getting Started

How to start playing TerraX

TerraX runs in your web browser on desktop and mobile — no download, no purchase. From opening the site to your first idle expedition takes a few minutes.

Open the game in your browser

Go to https://app.terrax.win/login on desktop or mobile. TerraX is fully browser-based — there is nothing to download or install.

Connect a crypto wallet

Click Play and connect with MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, or a social login (Google, X, Discord and others) that creates a smart wallet for you. Connecting is free.

Sign the verification message

Sign a one-time Sign-In with Ethereum message to prove you own the wallet. Signing costs nothing — no gas fee, no transaction, and it never gives the game access to your funds.

Create your character

Pick your look and name. New accounts start with a pickaxe, a hatchet, two Worker Summons, 100 Water and an Energy Potion.

Summon your first two workers

Open your two starter Worker Summons — the first always grants a mining worker and the second a harvesting worker, so every new player can run both gathering loops from day one.

Start idle mining and harvesting

Send your workers on their first expeditions. A fresh account's first mining and harvesting runs each take about 33 minutes and continue while you are offline.

Follow the guided quests

Work through the 20 guided quests for 4,925 XP — enough on its own to reach roughly level 25 — while claiming the daily login calendar and your free daily Wheel of Fortune spin.

Expand into the rest of the game

Forge better gear from what you gather, unlock fishing at level 10, run dungeons, fight world bosses, and sell your surplus on the player-driven marketplace for USDT.

Getting Started

What TerraX is, what it costs, and what you need to start playing.

What kind of game is TerraX?

TerraX is a browser-based online RPG — an idle MMORPG where you mine ores, harvest resources, forge gear, cook, fish, raid dungeons, fight world bosses and other players, and trade on a player-driven marketplace. It combines active MMO play (walking the world, tapping ore nodes, real-time combat) with idle systems (worker expeditions that run while you are offline). Earnings are denominated in USDT and withdrawable to your own crypto wallet.

Yes — TerraX is free to start and you can progress without depositing anything. There is no game token to buy and no pre-sale. Optional spending exists (a Pro subscription from $4.99, store items, worker packs), but the core loops — mining, harvesting, crafting, fishing, dungeons and the marketplace — are all playable free.

Any modern web browser on desktop or mobile. There is no download, no install and no minimum spec beyond running a browser — the game lives at app.terrax.win.

Yes, sign-in is by crypto wallet — MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, or a social login (Google, X, Discord and more) that creates a smart wallet for you, so you don't need an existing wallet to start. Verifying ownership means signing a free message: no gas fee, no transaction, and the game never gets access to your funds or your seed phrase.

A starter pickaxe and hatchet, two Worker Summons (the first always grants a mining worker, the second a harvesting worker), 100 Water and an Energy Potion. The 20 guided quests then pay out 4,925 XP — enough alone to reach roughly level 25 — and a 12-day daily login calendar includes a 30-day Pro trial on day 12.

Earning & the Economy

How real earnings work: the marketplace, world-boss payouts, the daily jackpot, and withdrawals.

Two main routes. First, the player-driven marketplace: sell ores, wood, fish, ingredients, ingots, gear and beasts to other players for USDT. Second, world-boss battle events: 30% of the game's revenue flows into a reward pool that is paid out to participants in proportion to the damage their character deals, with a 15% bonus for characters that survive the fight. On top of that, 10% of revenue feeds guild pools and another 10% feeds Lokir's Wellspring, a daily jackpot anyone can enter for free once per day.

You can withdraw your in-game USDT balance to your own wallet. The minimum withdrawal is $10, the maximum is $50 per 12 hours, and a 3% fee applies (5% when withdrawing to ETH).

It is a peer-to-peer market: every listing is another player's stock, priced by them in USDT. Listings pay a small fee, and an enforced price floor prevents items being dumped below their material value. Beasts trade on their own market lanes, where the same species sells at very different prices depending on its stats.

No. Depositing USDT is only for buying from the in-game store or the player marketplace. Free players earn currency by selling what they gather and craft, and through battle-event payouts and the daily Wellspring jackpot.

Payouts are bounded by actual revenue: the reward pool, guild pool and Wellspring are fixed percentage splits of money coming in (30% / 10% / 10%), not minted tokens. There is no game token and no emissions schedule — balances are USD-denominated, and withdrawals are taxed and rate-capped.

Energy, Mining, Harvesting & Fishing

The daily energy budget and the three gathering loops it feeds.

Energy is the game's daily budget. You start with 250 maximum energy at level 1 and gain 10 more per level (840 at level 60). It fully restores once per day at 00:00 UTC and does not regenerate between resets. Nearly every action has a fixed cost — 4 energy per active mining charge, 5 per fishing cast, 10 to start a forge, 50–150 per idle expedition, 100 to enter a boss battle. A Pro subscription adds +2,500 maximum energy while active, and Energy Potions restore 100% of your bar. Notably, open-world combat costs zero energy.

There are two mining systems sharing the same ores. Active MMO mining: walk the world and caves and mine ore nodes directly at 4 energy per swing — nodes are a shared, server-wide supply that respawns every 60 minutes, and higher-tier ores need a higher-tier pickaxe. Idle mining expeditions: dispatch a worker to clear 25 nodes across four mine-shaft floors; runs take real time (about 33 minutes for a fresh account), continue while you are offline, and cost 50–150 energy depending on floor. Idle runs yield roughly twice the ore per energy up to silver tier; active mining is faster in real time and rolls bonus side-drops.

Harvesting is idle: assign a worker with a hatchet to one of four groves to fell trees for wood, with a 30% chance per tree of side-drops — cooking ingredients, sap and fishing bait. Grove runs cost the same 50–150 energy as mine floors, and better hatchets unlock higher-tier trees. Harvesting's side-drops feed the other loops: ingredients become expedition provisions and bait feeds fishing.

Fishing unlocks at level 10 once you forge the Twig Rod (3,500 copper and a 4-hour forge). Casts take about 30 seconds and cost 5 energy times a bait multiplier — premium bait families cost more energy but target rarer fish. Your rod's rarity caps which fish you can catch, some species only appear at dawn, dusk or night, and catches pay XP, water, cooking ingredients and pearls. Rare bait matters more than expensive bait families: bait rarity is what drives the value of the catch.

Idle mining has four floors gated by pickaxe tier, and idle harvesting has four groves gated by hatchet tier. Deeper floors and groves cost more energy (50/75/100/150) and require provisions — food and water crafted from harvesting and fishing output. Deeper floors also raise the chance of finding a beast egg on claim, from 0.5% on floor 1 up to 2% on floor 4.

Combat, Dungeons & World Bosses

Real-time world combat, idle dungeons, guild co-op and the world-boss battle events that pay out the reward pool.

World and cave combat is real-time MMO combat on a 2-second round: hit chance comes from your accuracy against the enemy's evasion, damage varies ±15%, and crits deal 150%. Your survivability comes from defense and damage-reduction gear. Open-world fighting costs no energy — its real costs are health potions, gear durability, and the risk of dying. Health Potions heal 50% but cannot be drunk mid-combat, so every fight is decided by the HP you bring in.

Death costs 2% of your accumulated XP and 5% durability on all equipped gear. Die in the caves and your temporary dungeon bag drops where you fell — it stays lootable by other players for 180 seconds, so deep cave runs carry real risk.

Idle dungeons send a worker through monster floors using dungeon keys and energy, across five difficulties from Easy to Nightmare (keys cost 1/2/4/6/10 per run). Harder difficulties multiply monster strength but also loot and XP — Nightmare is the game's main source of epic crafting materials — and a failed run loses all its rewards, so gearing your worker matters. Separately, guild co-op dungeons are live 8-minute sessions for 2–5 guildmates (50 energy each, guild level 5+) that feed resources into the guild bank.

Battle events are server-wide fights against a shared boss. Entry costs 100 energy plus a committed stack of up to 10 health potions; your character then fights automatically in a server-simulated battle that ticks every 30 seconds — your stats are locked in at entry, potions auto-drink below 30% HP, and unused potions are refunded. The boss's health scales with the number of entrants. When it falls, the reward pool — 30% of game revenue — is split by damage dealt, with survivors earning a 15% bonus, plus item drops.

Yes — real-time duels using the same combat engine, with optional wagers from $0.10 to $100 (6% rake) and Elo-based matchmaking ratings. Arena mode compresses stat differences so fights stay competitive across gear levels, and PvP deaths carry no death penalty.

Workers & Beasts

The two companion systems: gacha workers who run your idle operations, and ranch beasts that buff them.

Workers run every idle activity — mining, harvesting and dungeons. You get two free at account creation, and more come from Worker Packs (Standard $1.99, Mystery $3.99, Premium $14.99, Legendary $29.99). Each worker rolls a rarity from Common to Legendary, stats, and one of four specializations — Mining, Harvesting, Dungeon or the rarer Versatile — and Epic and Legendary workers carry unique abilities.

Yes. You are guaranteed at least a Rare within 10 summons, an Epic within 50, and a Legendary within 200 — each counter resets when you pull that tier or better.

Beasts from the ranch serve four roles. Penned, they passively generate produce. As expedition companions, they boost a worker's mining or harvesting yield and reduce the gear durability the run costs. As your MMO follower, they walk the world with you and add movement speed, crit chance, loot luck and evasion. And they breed — offspring inherit stats, so high-stat lines are valuable on the beast marketplace.

Eggs drop from idle mining and harvesting claims (0.5%–2% depending on depth), rarely from fishing rare-or-better catches, from the day-6 daily login reward, and from the store ($2.99 common, $7.99 uncommon — rarer eggs cannot be bought and must be bred or found). Eggs incubate over real time.

Six inherited stats (Might, Charm, Vigor, Endurance, Agility, Instinct), each capped at 31, drive different jobs — Might for expedition yield, Charm and Vigor for pen produce, Endurance for gear-wear reduction, Agility and Instinct for follower combat bonuses. Temperament shifts its paired stat by ±10%, star ranks add 5% per star, and beasts level up. The same species can therefore be near-worthless with the wrong stats and prized with the right ones, which is what the beast market lanes trade on.

Pro, Guilds & Progression

The optional subscription, guild systems, and how fast progression actually moves.

Pro's headline value is +2,500 maximum energy while active — roughly 11 times a new player's daily budget — plus larger idle expeditions (50 nodes per run instead of 25) and dungeon-key bundles on the longer subscriptions. It costs $4.99 for 30 days, up to $35.99 for 360 days, and every player gets a free 30-day Pro trial from day 12 of the login calendar.

Guilds share a bank, earn from a guild pool fed by 10% of game revenue, and unlock co-op content: 2–5 player live dungeon sessions (from guild level 5) and guild-versus-guild siege warfare on a monthly cadence. Founding a guild costs $49; guilds are free to join by default, though each guild can set its own entry fee.

As of the August 2026 balance audit, active players reach level 10 in about 2–3 days, level 20 around day 7–8, level 30 in roughly two weeks, and level 50 in about 5–6 weeks; casual pace is roughly double that. The guided quests alone carry you to about level 25, and the fastest sustained XP comes from high-difficulty dungeons and forging high-tier gear.

Your energy bar fully restores at 00:00 UTC, the Wheel of Fortune gives one free spin a day, idle expeditions and forges run around the clock, and Lokir's Wellspring accepts one free jackpot entry per day. New accounts also work through a 12-day login calendar with escalating rewards, including a beast egg on day 6 and a 30-day Pro trial on day 12.

The forge turns ores and wood into ingots, tools, weapons, armour and shields; the cooking station turns ingredients into food, potions and beast feeds. You start with one free forge slot and one cooking station, crafts take real time (12 seconds for coal up to multi-hour gear), starting one costs 10 energy, and finished gear pays significant XP — forging high-tier items is one of the strongest XP sources in the game. Impatient crafts can be accelerated for about $0.25 per hour.
